Making Our World Beautiful

The Whatcom County Dahlia Society was founded in 1983. We are a non-profit gardening group organized to promote dahlias and dahlia growing in Northwest Washington.

We provide education about dahlia culture, promote an annual exhibition of dahlias and bring dahlia starts to the community through our tuber sale.

We are a members of the Regional and National dahlia societies that provide a formal structure for dahlia nomenclature, classification, judging and exhibition schedules.

We have over 100 members from throughout our county as well as from Skagit county and the lower British Columbia mainland. We enjoy our meeting programs, the social connection through the society and the participation in our club's activities. We also publish a monthly newsletter about our activities and growing dahlias.
